![]() ![]() I'm also looking into taking Ashwagandha. I'm doing yoga, supplementing vitamin D and attempting to improve my diet. I'm already in therapy, and on psychiatric meds. At best they feel like a bandaid over a slit throat. I do 'relaxing things' like watching comedies, petting my cat or taking a nice long bath, but they don't seem to work much. But I've never learned how to cope with stress, because I was a quiet child and instead developed ways of covering my problems up and repressing stress. My cortisol levels had been high for years, and caused me a plethora of other medical problems like type 2 diabetes, weight gain, depressive episodes and teeth issues due to grinding them.
